If you’re looking to upgrade your studio setup over the upcoming holiday season, this is a great opportunity to save on essential items for music production. Let’s take a closer look at the offers currently available:

Lewitt LCT 240 PRO

When you’re starting your own streaming channel or building a recording setup, you might not have a huge budget to play with. That’s why the Lewitt LCT 240 PRO is a great option to get decent audio quality without spending a ton.

The LCT 240 PRO is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser with a gold-plated capsule, perfect for recording speech, vocals, acoustic guitar, amp cabinet, and percussion instruments like shakers and tambourines.

You can get set up immediately with the included mic clip and windshield, while the protective bag avoids contact with dust when the mic is not in use.

Yamaha HS8

The Yamaha HS8 is the largest option from Yamaha’s popular HS range of near-field monitors. The design consists of a 120W bi-amplified bass reflex system with an 8-inch woofer (75W) and a 1-inch dome tweeter (45W).

The rear-ported design avoids air noise, but remember to place the HS8 at a fair distance from the wall to avoid low-frequency doubling, as this can lead to lifeless mixes.

In addition, there are room control and high-frequency trim switches on the rear panel, so you can tighten the response of the HS8 for your listening environment.

Neumann NDH-20

When you need studio-quality sound with excellent isolation, the Neumann NDH-20 delivers with a brilliantly constructed closed-back design that features memory foam ear pads and 38 mm dynamic drivers with neodymium magnets.

If you need to work on mixes on the road, the NDH-20 headphones provide excellent isolation, so you won’t disturb anyone in your close vicinity. The design is ruggedly built, with a flexible steel adjustable headband and aluminium earcup covers.

The NDH-20 headphones carry an impedance rating of 150 ohms, which means they will perform best with a headphone amplifier. Meanwhile, the package includes both straight and coiled connector cables and a protective carry bag.

Tegeler Audio EQP-1

The Tegeler Audio EQP-1 is a dual-channel 3-band Pultec-style passive tube equalizer that you can use while tracking or mixing. There are four selectable low-frequency bands including 20, 30, 60, and 100 Hz with boost and cut, so you can do the Pultec low-end trick.

Moreover, there are nine midrange to high-frequency bands (3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, and 20 kHz) with boost and Q-factor. In addition, you get a high-shelf filter with attenuation at 5, 10, or 20 kHz.

Overall, the EQP-1 is a versatile unit as you can run the 2 channels in series, giving you a greater degree of control when shaping instruments and vocals.
