If the keybed is moving in any way whatsoever, you lose the accuracy of how it responds to your force. If you’re a pianist, you’ll notice it.

Four leg stands ONLY for me.

They’ve been stationary for many years now but used to get a lot of abuse in the early 90s during my student days. As did a Kawai K1 and some random Casio thing we had, neither of which fared so well 🤣

It was expensive, I wouldn’t buy it again. It is very heavy, as heavy as any of my keyboards. There are two supports that stick out, welded front to back to the underside of the two crossbars, that will crush your knee caps. The corner supports rise far above the crossbars so the keyboard sits on the four corners and there is a horizontal gap all along the stand, front and back. It doesn’t support keyboards well at all. I filled the gaps with rubber strips glued along the top of the crossbars. I shouldn’t have to do that. Buy the cheaper versions, the Millenium looks like a better design.

The X stand is fine, if you want to play standing up.
I have very recently invested in a Jasper’s 3 tier stand.
Does any one have any tips on desking the bottom stand?
It can hold 40kg. I would like to make that into a desk area with plywood rather than brackets.
I have several ideas how to do this.
I was just wondering if anyone had already done this and could give me some pointers / ideas?
