TC Electronic launches Hall of Fame 2 Mini Reverb and Flashback 2 Mini Delay

Two new mini effect pedals from TC Electronic were announced today, the Hall of Fame 2 Mini Reverb and Flashback 2 Mini Delay. Both are smaller versions of existing effects and feature the company’s MASH foot pedal expression system.
Mini MASH
The two new effects are based on the very popular Hall Of Fame 2 and Flashback 2 Delay pedals. This is the first time that TC Electronic has used its MASH technology on a mini pedal. Designed to add an expressive component, it opens up the usefulness of these two mini pedals by responding to the amount of pressure you apply with your foot.

All the control
So how much control can TC squeeze into a mini pedal? Quite a lot, it turns out. The Mini HOF2 has dedicated control knobs for Decay, Tone and Mix, while the Mini Flashback 2 Delay has controls for Delay, Feedback and Level. The MASH control on the Mini Flashback 2 Delay also doubles as a tap-tempo input for your delay times.
The pedals both use the company’s free TonePrint Editor. This will run on PC, Mac, iPhone, Android and iPad operating systems. It makes it pretty easy to edit your favourite reverbs and delays and customise the MASH functionality for each of the pedals.
