Kemper has just announced a new updated lightweight Kone Neo 12-inch speaker. These new speakers were designed in conjunction with Celestion and offer 19 classic guitar speaker imprints for Kemper Profiler PowerRacks and PowerHeads.
Kemper lightweight Kone Neo 12-inch speaker
The new Kemper super light Kone Neo 12-inch speaker has just been revealed. These follow on from the original version of the Kemper Kone released back in 2020. Saving around 1.5kg per speaker should help keep speaker cabinet weights down by a substantial amount. Especially if you use 2 x 12 and 4 x 12 cabinets. The new speakers utilise neodymium magnets to bring the weights down.

Speaker Imprints
The Kemper Kones are designed to digitally imprint various speaker characteristics onto one single cabinet. Which allows players to access a variety of tones without having to lug around multiple cabinets.
By making the system even lighter, Kemper is helping working musicians out and making life a lot easier.

Full Range Speaker
Kemper Kone Neo is a full-range speaker that is then controlled and driven by the Profiler algorithm. This is what gets you access to 19 different speaker imprints and allows you to get a vast array of tones. Using the Profiler’s Monitor CabOff function, the Kemper Kone Neo can be switched from full-range mode to the Speaker Imprint Mode. Plus, the Profiler’s Aux Input can also be played back in full-range mode with no imprint applied. The original video below explains how the Kemper Kabinet system works.
The new Kemper’Kone Neo is now available as a single unit and is also available in two and four-speaker sets.
