Line 6 Catalyst: New amps, no menus, no screens, just tone!
New amp range featuring Helix technology
Line 6 has just launched a new series of amps under the Catalyst moniker. Each model features the company’s Helix/HX technology, simplified and housed within a combo amplifier format.
Line 6 Catalyst
This brand new Line 6 Catalyst amp range features three dual-channel combo amps that perform like traditional guitar amps, but house the Helix technology. You have a choice between the 200-watt Catalyst 200, the 100-watt Catalyst100, and the smaller, yet still very capable, 60-watt Catalyst 60.
Features
The new amps offer what Line 6 calls six Original Amp Designs, ranging from pristine cleans to modern high-gain, all based on the HX technology. You also get a Boost circuit that has been customised for each amp type, plus a dedicated Reverb section with six reverb types, along with 18 additional effects, an effects loop, a Power Amp input for using Catalyst as a powered speaker, MIDI, and power attenuation options for playing at any volume They also have an XLR line output and a 4-channel USB recording interface built-in.
Optional Extras
The brand also offers an optional LFS2 footswitch, and an optional cover to protect your Catalyst combo. This could be a huge seller for Line 6, as it simplifies the Helix system, which may have too many options for some players. It also offers a replacement for the popular DT range, which has been discontinued and was quite popular.

Really poor effects implementation imho.
